Camp Waitlists

Cancellations do occur, so we recommend adding your camper to the waitlist. If a spot opens up, our scheduling staff will contact waitlisted registrants in the order they signed up. There is no cost to join the waitlist, so sign up soon! Learn more about camp FAQs.

Meets at Birch Aquarium

Ages 4-5: Learn about jiggling jellies, scuttling crabs, waddling penguins, toothy sharks, and massive mammals through hands-on classroom activities, aquarium exhibits, games, crafts, and live animal touches! Cannot take morning and afternoon camps during the same week.

Mission Bay | Scripps Beach | La Jolla Cove

Ages 11-13: Experienced instructors will teach basic surfing, boogie-boarding, and snorkeling skills, while introducing campers to related marine science topics such as waves, water temperature, beach landscape, and near-shore marine life. Intermediate swimming ability and comfort in beach/ocean settings required.

Surfing Into Science
